All of this data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to it, and it is not sent to any cloud servers or third-party databases by our app.

We may automatically collect non-personally identifiable information strictly for the functional operation of the app or via standard Apple/Google app analytics (if you have opted into sharing crash reports with developers via your device settings):

• Log Data: Crash reports, performance data, and generic usage statistics to help us improve the app and fix bugs.

2. How We Use Information

Because we do not collect your personal journal data, we do not use it. The on-device data is used strictly by the app on your device to:

• Display your journal entries to you.
• Allow you to manage and interact with your saved memories.

Any generic crash logs or performance data provided by the App Store or Google Play Store are used solely to improve the stability and performance of the 18 Summers app.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not collect your data, so we cannot and do not share, sell, or disclose it to third parties.

• There are no third-party analytics trackers, advertising networks, or data brokers integrated into the app that collect your journal data.
• Your entries remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them using your device's built-in sharing capabilities (e.g., sending a photo via messages or saving a backup to your personal iCloud/Google Drive).

4. Data Security & Backups

The security of your data is governed by the security of your own device. We recommend using device-level security features like a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID to restrict access to your device.

Because your data is stored locally:

• You are entirely responsible for backing up your data. If you lose your device or uninstall the app without a full device backup (e.g., to iCloud or Google Drive), your journal entries will be permanently lost. We do not maintain any backups of your data.

5. Your Choices and Rights

Since we do not hold your data on any servers, you have complete control over your information directly within the app:

• You can access, edit, or delete any of your entries at any time directly on your device.
• You can delete all your data by deleting the 18 Summers app from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

Because the app operates completely offline and does not transmit data, it is safe for users of all ages. However, we do not knowingly solicit or collect any data from children under the age of 13, because we do not collect data from any users.
